The Campus Safety Services Department, the Campus Life Office, the Campus Safety Committee, and the Dean’s Office work to make the campus aware of security issues through a variety of methods including education programs, publications, posters, and notices. Campus Life works with student organizations to help plan events that are held on campus.
Student organizations also sponsor information sessions on a wide range of topics relevant to campus life. In addition, the Campus Safety Services Department offers the Rape Aggression Defense program, aimed at combating sexual assault and rape. Student organizations also sponsor information sessions as well as self-defense programs each year.
